We are an early-stage energy tech startup on a mission to decarbonise computing power. We’re building the Energy OS, a software platform that helps utilise greener, cheaper energy and unlock capacity to power the soaring demand for compute. Having raised $2M+ in pre-seed funding in 2025 from leading VCs (Fly Ventures, Pact, Octopus Ventures) and angels from the data centre space, we are now looking for exceptional talent to help us build, enhance our operations and shape the future growth of the company.

📈The Opportunity

AI is driving data centres’ electricity consumption to more than double, from ~460 TWh annually today to a projected 1,000 TWh by 2030; that’s roughly equivalent to the electricity consumption of Japan! As energy becomes more critical than ever during the biggest infrastructure build out in history, we’re developing the technology that enables data centres to power the workloads of the future. We’re already delivering value to leading UK Operators like Galaxy Data Centres and have a pipeline of data centre customers that we’re excited to partner with.

As we're building on this early traction, this is an opportunity to join on the ground floor, reporting to the CEO, and as an early employee be in a position to make a real impact as you grow with the business. You’ll be a great fit for this role if you have a growth mindset and your career ambitions include entrepreneurship and/or acting as a future executive.

🤝 Your role as Founder's Associate

You will work directly with the company founders across strategy, product, operations and exploring new business lines. This includes researching industry problems, conducting analysis, structuring experiments, and overseeing strategic initiatives end-to-end.

Examples of what you’ll be working on:

• Supporting commercial strategy for existing and new product segments
• Driving the research and data analysis to inform strategic decisions as we evaluate new geographies, products, partnerships and / or regulatory developments
• Designing pricing models to inform new business lines
• Preparing materials for C suite decisions, investor meetings and fundraising support
• Managing critical special projects, both internal and external proof of concepts
• Build and manage internal operations, including KPI setting and project management

✅ Requirements

This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, commercially-minded generalist who wants to shape the growth of a dynamic startup operating in a rapidly evolving sector. The ideal candidate has:

• 1 - 3 years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (i.e. startup / consulting / tech) including a demonstrated track record in a commercially-focused role
• Ability and willingness to take on a wide variety of tasks, learn on the job and work across different domains
• Data-driven, analytical thinker with a strong working knowledge of Excel
• Comfortable working with ambiguity and unstructured environments
• Highly organised and obsessed with efficiencies, while having a bias for action rather than getting lost in the details
• Excited about technology and having a hand in making a big impact

📍Location

We are a hybrid company who meet 1-2 days/week at a co-working space in London or Newcastle. You must have a legal right to work in the UK (we aren’t able to sponsor visas)
