At XYZ Reality, we’ve created the world’s first engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for construction. Our product, The Atom, is used on major projects worldwide to bring designs to life on-site and help teams build more accurately, efficiently and with fewer mistakes.

As a Series B business scaling across the US and internationally, we’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Austin and play a key role in building the talent behind our growth.

The Role

You’ll own multiple searches across our US business, with an initial focus on growing our Project Delivery teams supporting major construction and Data Centre projects.

This is a hands-on recruitment role where proactive sourcing is key. You’ll go beyond job boards to find and engage hard-to-reach talent through direct sourcing, market mapping, referrals, local networks and other creative channels.

Working closely with hiring managers and business leaders, you’ll own your searches end-to-end, understanding what great looks like, providing talent market insight and delivering an excellent candidate experience.

You’ll also have the opportunity to help shape how we recruit as we scale, building proactive talent pipelines and strengthening our direct sourcing capability across the US.

The role is based in Austin, Texas on a hybrid basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own end-to-end recruitment across multiple requisitions, from initial role briefing through to offer and close.

• Partner closely with hiring managers, building trusted relationships and providing advice, challenge and market insight throughout the hiring process.

• Proactively source and engage high-quality passive talent using LinkedIn Recruiter, direct sourcing techniques, referrals and other relevant channels.

• Build targeted talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs, reducing our reliance on reactive recruitment and external agencies.

• Conduct engaging and effective candidate screening interviews, assessing experience, motivation and alignment with XYZ Reality.

• Manage multiple searches and competing priorities while maintaining pace, quality and an excellent candidate experience.

• Maintain accurate and meaningful recruitment data within our ATS, Ashby.

• Use market insight and recruitment data to help hiring managers make informed decisions.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, ideally within Construction, Engineering, Data Centres, Infrastructure or a related technical environment.

• Experience recruiting Site Engineers, Field Engineers or similar construction/engineering profiles.

• Strong direct sourcing skills and a track record of finding and engaging passive, hard-to-reach talent.

• Experience managing multiple requisitions and regional hiring priorities simultaneously.

• Strong hiring manager and stakeholder partnering skills, with the confidence to advise, influence and challenge.

• Experience managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from role briefing and market mapping through to offer and close.
