About the Role

We are expanding our local team in Colombia and looking for a QA Automation Engineer who is passionate about code quality, scalability, and modern testing frameworks. This is a 100% core automation role. You will not be tasked with manual regression cycles. Instead, you will design, scale, and maintain automated test suites built entirely in Python, integrating them directly into our deployment pipelines.

You will work be an integral part of the product development team, working alongisde the Software Engineers, Data Scientists and Product Managers. As a QA Automation Engineer, you should be a team player with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop robust, maintainable, and scalable end-to-end automation frameworks using Python and Playwright.
• Maintain: Refactor existing test code to ensure low flakiness and rapid execution times.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated test execution into our continuous delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate: Partner closely with engineers to identify automation gaps early in the development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in a dedicated QA Automation role for complex web applications, including experience with application performance and web accessibility guidelines.
• Core Language: Proficient in Python 3.11+ (OOP principles, data structures, and core libraries) and Web technologies (HTML, ES2025, CSS).
• Tools & Frameworks: Hands-on experience with Chome Dev Tools (overriding responses, throttling, Lighthouse), AI tools & MCP servers
• Backend Skills: Strong experience testing APIs using Python libraries like requests or HTTPX.
• Infrastructure: Comfortable with Git version control and writing basic CI/CD configuration files (Jenkinsfile).
• Language: B2+ English proficiency (comfortable collaborating with international teams).

$8,500,000 - $10,000,000
