🚀 About the role

We’re looking for an Operations Manager to drive WONE’s business and financial efficiency as we scale. In this generalist role, you’ll be working closely with our VP Operations & People to run and maintain our operating model, support the finance function, manage internal operations and work on special strategic projects. This role is critical to building a scalable, efficient operating system for growth at WONE and would be an amazing opportunity for a generalist to work in a varied role, with a full view across the business.

Key Responsibilities.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams across WONE, providing operational and financial support to enable key projects and initiatives.
  • Process Improvement: Champion operational excellence, identifying opportunities for operational improvements, driving best practices in finance and operations processes, tools and automation across the business.
  • Data & Reporting: Maintain accurate financial records and help prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports. Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic planning and performance tracking.
  • Budget Oversight: Monitor budgets and track expenses across departments, helping teams manage resources effectively.
  • Financial Management: Support with managing our P&L, oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting to support informed decision-making.
  • OKR Performance: Monitor data and OKR performance to inform processes that enhance efficiency and support WONE’s growth.
  • Compliance & Legal: Liaise with legal firms and manage policies to ensure compliance.
  • Executive Support: Provide support to our executive team, scheduling meetings and managing coordination to maximise productivity.
  • Office Management: Oversee office operations, including supplies management, office logistics and liaising with our workspace provider to ensure a comfortable environment.

  • Proven Experience: Around 3+ years in startup operations, demonstrated background in driving operational excellence in a scaling organisation.
  • Operational Excellence: Skilled in designing and optimising operational processes, with a focus on efficiency and scalability. A high performer who operates at pace.
  • Data-Driven: Ability to understand and interpret data, with a test and learn mindset, using insights to inform strategic decisions with a focus on accuracy in all financial and operational reporting.
  • Financial Acumen: Good understanding of financial principles and processes.
  • Tech Proficiency: Experienced with project management tools and experience of using / ability to to learn financial software (e.g., Xero, ScaleXP).
  • Mission-Driven: Passionate about health and wellbeing, and aligned with WONE’s mission to transform workplace health.
  • Collaborative: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
  • Proactive: naturally takes ownership, with a willingness to get stuck into whatever is required to move the company forward.
