About the role

The VP of Partnerships will lead Vitesse's partnership strategy in the US while also personally driving the identification, development, and management of high-value strategic partnerships. You will own revenue targets linked to partnership performance and be expected to actively source and close new opportunities, alongside developing and deepening existing relationships.

As Vitesse continues to scale, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the partnerships function, including building and managing a small team as we grow.

This role is perfect for a self-starter who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to win deals and shaping strategic direction at the leadership level.

Core responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the overall partnership and alliances strategy to support Vitesse’s growth ambitions while building a high-performing team overtime.
  • Identify, negotiate, and onboard new strategic partners, including technology providers, distribution partners, platforms, and channel partners.
  • Take ownership of a defined revenue target linked to partnership success.
  • Build and manage relationships with key partners to drive long-term value.
  • Own and deepen relationships with key existing partners to ensure long-term success and value generation.
  • Structure innovative commercial partnership models that drive mutual value and market expansion.
  • Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Operations, and Compliance to ensure partnership success from onboarding to execution.
  • Support go-to-market strategies that leverage partnerships to drive new revenue streams.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging partnership opportunities in the fintech, payments, and insurance space.
  • Lead negotiations and close high-impact partnership deals, working closely with legal and finance teams.
  • Build and lead a high-performing partnerships team as the business grows.
  • Define and track KPIs and revenue targets for partnerships, regularly reporting progress to the Executive Team.

Skills we are looking for:

  • 10+ years in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, with a proven track record of closing high-value deals and delivering revenue growth.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, insurance, SaaS, or Claims management.
  • Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced environments.
  • Comfortable owning and hitting revenue targets, while also shaping broader strategy.
  • Demonstrable ability to identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships independently.
  • Leadership capability to build and grow a team as the function scales.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to create and structure complex partnership agreements.
  • Ability to think strategically but also act tactically to deliver results.
  • Outstanding relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to engage senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Solid understanding of insurance industry.
