YOUR MISSION
As Business Analyst you will be required to act as a translation layer between business stakeholders and the development team in defining and developing product solutions that align with our strategic objectives.
This will include working closely with internal subject matter experts including: Engineering, Operations, Solutions, Commercial and colleagues in the Product team. This role will sit in the Product team under the wider Product Engineering function.
Responsibilities
Formed in 2014 by a team of proven FinTech entrepreneurs, we are an FCA regulated payments business that is driven to be the payment partner of choice for the insurance market, by providing global payment services and treasury optimisation. Operating one of the largest domestic banking and payment settlement networks in the world, we give our customers direct access to more than 170 countries and territories, covering over 110 currencies. Through a single integration, insurers can use this network to pay claims in as fast as 45 seconds, delivering a better customer experience to their claimants. Our market-leading treasury optimisation service brings complete control and transparency to insurers and allows them to have their money in the right place, at the right time, to make that all important payment - fast, and when their customers need it most.
With now over 160 employees across Europe and our London headquarters, $26m series B funding in 2022 in the bag and approaching £8bn in processed transactions, we are only just getting started.

Responsibilities
- You will be aligned to a squad withing the Claims Experience Tribe, focusing on product features that enhance the experience of our Insurance customers and their claimants. You will working alongside the Product Owner to define and analyse requirements to reach the squad objectives as defined by the roadmap
- Provide direct input into epics, features and stories related to the changes in question. These will typically relate to enhancements of customer facing features to build on existing solutions and propositions
- Undertake root cause analysis for issues where required and document as is and to be processes to help elicit incremental improvements to processes/features
- Analyse overall business impact across all relevant stakeholders and create a plan to implement necessary changes
- Understand any wider impact of implementing any changes and devise a communication plan (internal and external) in conjunction with your colleagues in the product team
- Input to product documentation to support the businesses and to assist successful roll out to help maximise utilization of new features.
- Track success post implementation by measuring KPIs
- Support the business where necessary with subject matter expertise on the changes that have been implemented
- Work with your squad to ensure changes are coherent and consistent with a broader long term value proposition and bring as much benefit to the users of the new product functionality as possible
- 2+ years' experience in a, in a Business Analyst or similar role working on defining and implementing new customer facing product features and managing business change.
- Must be highly analytical, organized and structured.
- Desirable but not essential to have some domain experience in cross border payments gained at a fintech, International Payments company or bank
- A good understanding of Agile development practices
- Excellent communicator. You should be a people person with a proven track record of establishing, building and maintaining strong, high value relationships
- Passion for start-ups with a mentality to get your hands dirty. You will be expected to provide live feedback on improvements to existing product features as you gain an understanding and also improve processes and ways of working.
