The BI Business Partner plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and data insights. This role involves collaborating with our Operations team, understanding their strategic objectives, and leveraging our BI tools and techniques to provide actionable information that drives decision-making and supports business growth. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, possess excellent analytical skills, and have a passion for using data to solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Formed in 2014 by a team of proven FinTech entrepreneurs, we are an FCA regulated payments business that is driven to be the payment partner of choice for the insurance market, by providing global payment services and treasury optimisation. Operating one of the largest domestic banking and payment settlement networks in the world, we give our customers direct access to more than 170 countries and territories, covering over 110 currencies. Through a single integration, insurers can use this network to pay claims in as fast as 45 seconds, delivering a better customer experience to their claimants. Our market-leading treasury optimisation service brings complete control and transparency to insurers and allows them to have their money in the right place, at the right time, to make that all important payment - fast, and when their customers need it most.
With now over 160 employees across Europe and our London headquarters, $26m series B funding in 2022 in the bag and approaching £8bn in processed transactions, we are only just getting started.

Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the operations team, understanding their strategic priorities and information needs
- Proactively identify opportunities where BI can add value and drive business performance
- Drive the implementation of practical solutions to stakeholder data requirements
- BI Development & Implementation:
- Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to design, develop, and implement BI solutions (dashboards, reports, self-service analytics) that meet the needs of the business
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across BI solutions
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and techniques
- Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting to answer specific business questions and support decision-making
- Utilize data visualization techniques to present complex information in an easily understandable format
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to stakeholders
- Data Strategy & Governance:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the company's BI strategy
- Ensure data quality and compliance through adherence to data governance policies and procedures
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in BI and data analytics.
- 2+ years of experience in a BI, data analysis, or similar role, demonstrating excellent stakeholder relationship management, business acumen and analytical skills
- Consultancy experience working on change management and process mapping
- Proficient in Excel, and experience using power-query to access real-time data
- Proficiency in relevant BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SSRS) and SQL
- Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge of Tableau and Databricks, along with related technologies for data processing, visualization, and collaboration
- Experience with data modeling, ELT processes, and data warehousing is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Passion for data and its potential to drive business success
- Industry: Experience within contact centres, payments and banking or insurance will be an advantage
- Location: Hybrid, visiting London-HQ 2-3 times per week
- The role may suit someone coming from an operational or call centre background who is in the early stages of developing a more technical career path in data analytics
- 25 days Holiday per year (increasing by 1 day per years' service, up to 30 days) + Bank Holidays
