We are creating a new programme management and product owner role to manage product change relating to our strategic relationships with major Insurance Marketplaces. A key part of this will be managing product change to support the Faster Claims Payment solution offered by Vitesse to the Lloyd's of London market. See here for more details.

As Programme Manager and Product Owner your mission is to oversee and manage all product change related to this product. You will have a dedicated engineering squad and a business analyst to support delivery of these changes.

This role will sit in the Product function, reporting into VP Product.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively navigate change processes across a complex web of external relationships
  • Manage prioritization of the product features with external parties, internal exec sponsors and the dedicated engineering team supporting changes
  • Clearly document and communicate requirements to the development team in conjunction with a business analyst
  • Have a thorough understanding of the journey that needs to be taken to reach the ultimate end feature goal, creating incremental steps where possible to reach the end complete feature deliverable.
  • Analyse overall business impact across all relevant stakeholders and create a plan to implement necessary changes including managing external customer and strategic partner communications
  • Understand any wider client impact of implementing any changes and devise a communication plan in conjunction with your colleagues in the product team
  • Input to product documentation with your business analyst to assist successful roll out to help maximise utilization of new features
  • Track success post implementation by measuring KPIs
  • Support the business where necessary with subject matter expertise on the changes that have been implemented
  • Work with your product colleagues to ensure changes are coherent and consistent with a broader value proposition and bring as much benefit to as much of our client base and target market as possible


Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience managing complex partnerships from a product perspective
  • Have very strong communication skills to deal with strategic external stakeholders
  • Must be highly analytical, organized and structured
  • Working understanding of Insurance claims payments and/or the Lloyd's of London market desirable
  • Some understanding of Agile development practices beneficial
  • Excellent communicator. You should be a people person with a proven track record of establishing, building and maintaining strong, high value relationships
  • Passion for scale-ups with a mentality to get your hands dirty. You will be expected to provide live feedback on improvements to existing product features as you gain an understanding and also improve processes and ways of working
  • A team player, with the ability to relate well with co-workers, customers and partners and other stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to be proactive and self-driven
