Today Vitesse has a large bank network which it uses to support largely bank transfer based payment methods to allow our Insurance customers to make claim payments to their policy holders and suppliers. We are seeking to extend the range of payment options for our clients beyond our core banking and into cards. We are seeking partners to support the delivery of a white labelled, policy and claim card solution running as a commercial scheme where cards will be issued to our corporate clients for the settlement of claims against issued policies.As Senior Business Analyst for cards you will be required to:

• Act as BA for a new engineering squad to deliver a new card proposition
• Work alongside a Product Owner to analyse and refine requirements when creating a new card proposition

You will work closely with internal subject matter experts including: Engineering (primarily a squad dedicated to delivery of the proposition), Product colleagues including a Product Owner dedicated to the squad, Operations and Sales.This role will sit within our Product function, reporting directly into the VP of Product. Responsibilities

• You will be aligned to a new squad initially focused on the implementation and maintenance of a new card issuing solution, working alongside the Product Owner to define and analyse requirements to reach the squad objectives as defined by the roadmap
• Provide direct input into epics, features and stories related to the changes in question.
• Analyse overall business impact across all relevant stakeholders and create a plan to implement necessary changes
• Understand any wider impact of implementing any changes and devise a communication plan (internal and external) in conjunction with your colleagues in the product team
• Input to product documentation to support the businesses and to assist successful roll out to help maximise utilization of new features.
• Track success post implementation by measuring KPIs
• Support the business where necessary with subject matter expertise on the changes that have been implemented
• Work with your product engineering colleagues (Product Owner, Engineers in your squad, Architect, VP Product) to ensure changes are coherent and consistent with a broader long term value proposition and bring as much benefit to the users of the new product functionality as possible

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in a, fintech, international payments company or bank in a BA/Senior BA role working on defining and implementing new product features and managing business change
• Direct and recent experience in the card issuing domain, ideally having worked on similar card issuing builds and implementations
• Must be highly analytical, organized and structured
• Working understanding of payments industry processes, messaging formats, systems, and regulation desirable
• Versatility with ability to act as BA across different domains/products desirable
• Technical understanding of Agile development practices
• Excellent communicator. You should be a people person with a proven track record of establishing, building and maintaining strong, high value relationships and experience in dealing with card issuers and/or card schemes
• Passion for start-ups with a mentality to get your hands dirty. You will be expected to provide live feedback on improvements to existing product features as you gain an understanding and also improve processes and ways of working
• A team player, with the ability to relate well with co-workers, customers and partners and other stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to be proactive and self-driven
