Your Mission

Reporting into the CFO, the Corporate Development Manager will help drive Vitesse’s growth by leading and supporting strategy development, strategic projects, fundraising activities and M&A processes

What you'll be doing

Corporate Development:

• Work with the CFO on all equity fundraising activities, identifying and managing potential venture capital investors, preparing presentation materials and managing due diligence activities.

• Evaluate and manage debt funding opportunities.

• Develop Investor Relations capability, improving the quality of all reporting to shareholders.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Technology team to identify product gaps and opportunities for inorganic growth.

• Evaluate and negotiate acquisition opportunities.

Strategy

• Support the Exec team in shaping the multi-year strategy.

• Collaborate closely with the leadership team to evaluate all aspects related to new products and markets.

• Lead quantitative analysis to facilitate strategic decision-making, such as building market models, developing the business plan and scenario planning.

• Monitor business trends and market intelligence to help frame and inform strategic choices.

• Tackle the larger commercial challenges as they arise and prepare presentations and reports on strategic topics for the Executive team and Board.

• Act as the Project Manager for strategic projects and initiatives as they arise and engage in stakeholder management for cross-functional or external topics.

• Assist in translating specific strategies into initiatives with clear metrics, including ROIs, end-state targets, KPIs and other updates on progress across various workplans and other ongoing deliverables.

About you

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in fast-paced environments, with a focus on M&A or corporate strategy.
• You will likely have worked in an Investment Bank or Advisory team within an accounting firm.
• Experience in Financial Services and/or Insurance.
• Strong analytical skills, business acumen and sound judgment.
• Strong financial modelling skills.
• Exceptional project management skills, capable of effectively leading company-wide processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship building, both internally and externally, across various organizational levels.
• Concise communication skills with excellent presentation skills.
• Good influencing qualities and a natural, effective consultative style
