Home Keeper by Uniplaces is the property management service within the Uniplaces Group, is looking for a proactive, commercially driven, and well-connected Business Development & Property Acquisition Associate to help grow its portfolio of managed properties.

This role is focused on identifying, developing, and closing new partnership opportunities that bring new apartments into the Home Keeper portfolio. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong sales mindset, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to create business opportunities through lawyers, real estate agencies, referral partners, events, and direct networking.

The main goal of this position is to source and secure new apartments for Home Keeper by building and activating a strong partner and referral network, while converting leads into signed management opportunities.

Business Development:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the Home Keeper portfolio.
  • Build and manage relationships with lawyers, real estate agencies, developers, investors, landlords, relocation contacts, and other referral partners.
  • Create a consistent pipeline of new apartment acquisition opportunities.
  • Prospect potential partners and owners through email, phone, LinkedIn, events, introductions, and in-person meetings.
  • Represent Home Keeper in relevant industry events and networking opportunities.

Sale and Acquisition:

  • Present Home Keeper’s value proposition to property owners and strategic partners.

  • Qualify leads and understand owner needs, property profile, and decision drivers.

  • Conduct meetings with prospective partners and apartment owners.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and drive deals toward conversion.

  • Ensure a smooth handover of signed properties to the operations team for onboarding.

Pipeline and Market Management:

  • Maintain an organised sales pipeline and ensure regular follow-up on all active opportunities.

  • Track performance, conversion, and partner activity with discipline and consistency.

  • Share market feedback and partnership insights to help improve the acquisition strategy.

Requirements
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English, spoken and written.
  • Based in Lisbon or Porto.
  • Comfortable working remotely, while being available for meetings, events, and partner visits when needed.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage a structured sales process.
  • Basic computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and CRM usage.
Nice to Have
  • Previous experience in sales, business development, real estate, account management, or partnerships.
  • Existing network in the Lisbon or Porto real estate ecosystem.
  • Experience dealing with landlords, agencies, or property-related stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with the local rental, real estate, or property management market.

Important Details
  • This a remote position based in Portugal
  • Internship contract with a duration of 6 months.
  • Includes an internship grant + meal allowance + eligible for monthly commission.
  • Access to a co-working office in Lisbon, Monday to Friday.
