About the Operations Team

Every day, students from 175 nationalities book over 5000 nights across 33 cities on uniplaces.com.

Our diverse team, representing 14 nationalities and speaking 6 languages, is dedicated to improving the student and landlord experience. We aim to make finding a room as easy as booking a flight.

Join us as a Customer Acquisition Intern!
In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for expanding our supply portfolio by identifying and acquiring new accommodation partners for our platform. You'll play a key role in growing our network of listings by building strong relationships with property owners and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
You'll actively contribute to the company's growth strategy by identifying new business opportunities, promoting our services, and helping partners maximize the potential of their properties on our platform.
What You'll Do
  • Identify and approach potential landlords and accommodation partners through online research, networking, and field prospecting.
  • Conduct outbound outreach through cold calls, emails, and other channels.
  • Present and promote the company’s services and value proposition to potential partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with landlords and accommodation providers.
  • Negotiate partnership opportunities and support landlords throughout the acquisition process.
  • Coordinate the onboarding of new properties and ensure listings are accurately created and activated on the platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient onboarding experience for new partners.
  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and acquisition activities.
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities to expand supply in strategic locations.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving acquisition processes and business growth.

  • Linguistic Skills: You’re fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Sales & Relationship Builder: You have a sales-oriented mindset and enjoy building relationships, confidently conducting outreach and developing new partnerships.
  • Proactive and Results-Driven: You take initiative, work independently, and stay focused on achieving targets and driving meaningful outcomes.
  • Organised and Multitasking Capable: You can manage multiple opportunities at once, staying structured and detail-oriented in a fast-paced environment.
  • Startup Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
  • Sales-Oriented Background: Previous experience in sales, business development, hospitality, tourism, or real estate is a plus.

Important details
  • This is a remote-based role.

  • Internship contract with a duration of 6-months.

  • Includes an internship grant + meal allowance + eligible for monthly commission.

  • Access to a co-working office in Lisbon, Monday to Friday.

  • Requires availability of 40H per week.
