Join us as a Full Stack Developer (Mid-level)!
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Mid-level), who wants to work in a fast-moving product company, contribute to technical decisions, and help shape the future of our platform.
You will work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams in a collaborative environment with a flat structure, where ideas are discussed openly and engineers actively influence both technical and product direction.
We value ownership, autonomy, and people who are comfortable taking initiative and driving projects forward.
Our architecture is built around scalable distributed services and modern engineering practices. You will work with multiple services and technologies connected through domain-driven design (DDD), hexagonal architecture, APIs, and event-driven patterns to build reliable and scalable systems.
We are also deeply embracing AI-assisted engineering. We expect engineers to be strong users of AI tools in their daily workflow, understanding how to leverage them effectively for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, architecture discussions, and productivity, while maintaining engineering quality and critical thinking.
What You'll Do
  • Develop end-to-end features, from conception to deployment.
  • Work on backend and frontend projects with modern technologies and scalable architectures.
  • Contribute to technical decisions, product discussions, and architectural evolution.
  • Build and maintain distributed services using Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Hexagonal Architecture principles.
  • Work with a variety of technologies, including PHP, Node.js, Go, and Next.js.
  • Collaborate in a highly agile and cross-functional environment.
  • Leverage AI-powered engineering workflows to enhance development speed and product quality.
  • Develop features with a strong focus on scalability, reliability, and maintainability;
  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.

Main Requirements
  • Language Skills: Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
  • Hands-On Full-Stack Experience: Bring +2 years of experience in web development, with solid expertise in JavaScript and modern development practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, PHP, Go) and frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
  • Architectural Mindset: Solid understanding of software architecture and engineering best practices.
  • Ownership & Initiative: Ability to take ownership of projects and work autonomously from conception to delivery.
  • Product-Oriented Thinking: A strong focus on delivering value beyond coding tasks.
  • Collaborative Experience: Proven ability to work effectively in agile, cross-functional teams.
  • AI-Driven Approach: Interest and practical experience in using AI tools for software engineering, with the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated solutions.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
  • Familiarity with Hexagonal Architecture.
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with automated testing strategies.
  • Open-source contributions or GitHub projects.
  • Experience working in product companies or fast-paced startups.

Important Details
  • This is a remote based role.
  • If you are in Lisbon, you can have access to a co-working office, Monday to Friday.
  • Requires availability of 40H per week.
