THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our engineering team. Reporting into the Head of Operations this role is pivotal in maintaining the stability, reliability, and efficiency of our systems. You will be working with a stack that includes AWS, Fastly, Terraform, Ansible, MongoDB, NodeJS, and Datadog. Experience with data engineering platforms like Databricks and ETL processes is highly advantageous.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure on AWS to ensure high availability, performance, and scalability.
• Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies.
• Use Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
• Monitor system performance using Datadog, and proactively address system issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to streamline code deployment and other operational processes.
• Maintain and improve our database systems, primarily MongoDB.
• Work with data engineering tools such as Databricks for ETL processes, optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams.
• Ensure security best practices throughout our infrastructure.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing high-quality support with a focus on reliability and uptime.
