Role Summary

We are an AI-first startup, headquartered in London, but with customers and employees across four continents. We’re looking for someone who wants to help us build for the future - an ambitious, hyper-organised, and emotionally intelligent generalist to own the "human" and "operational" infrastructure of our company.

This is a hybrid role by design. You will split your time between finding the best talent in the world (People) and ensuring our company runs like a machine (Operations). Consider this a crash-course in running a startup, an opportunity to learn and shape the operating system of a growing business from the inside.

What You Will Do

The People Pillar

  • Talent Scouting: You are the first line of offense in our hiring. You will source candidates for a diverse range of roles, from Engineering and Data Science to Product and Sales, managing the top-of-funnel pipeline and ensuring every candidate leaves the process with an exceptional experience.

  • Onboarding Architect: You will own the "Day 1 to Day 30" experience for future hires. This includes logistics (laptops, access), background checks, and the cultural integration of new hires.

  • Employer Brand: You will manage our external presence (LinkedIn, Company Website) to showcase our culture and value proposition.

  • Culture & Team Socials: You own the vibe - booking venues, organizing team offsites, and managing travel logistics.

The Operations Pillar

  • Curate our Tech Stack: You will manage our SaaS ecosystem (Slack, Jira, Notion, HRIS), managing seats, permissions, and ensuring we aren't overspending on unused licenses.

  • Workspace Management: Whether remote or in our WeWork, you ensure the environment is conducive to productive work.

  • General Operations: As a fast moving business there are always new challenges for us to solve, you will work with the Chief of Staff to resolve these - these areas might include risk and compliance, device management and governance.

What We’re Looking For

The Must-Haves

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a fast-paced environment. This could be a previous startup, a high-intensity customer-facing role (like hospitality or premium retail), or a rigorous administrative position.

  • Outstanding Written Communication: You will be writing headhunting emails to senior engineers and drafting posts for our company LinkedIn. Your writing must be engaging, punchy, and grammatically perfect.

  • Tech Savvy & AI Curious: You are comfortable picking up new software instantly. You have likely already used tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Perplexity to speed up your own life and work.

  • Organisational Mastery: You naturally categorise things. You rarely miss a deadline. You are the friend who makes the group holiday happen.

  • High Agency: You don't wait to be told what to do. If you see a problem (e.g., the internet is slow, the snacks are low, a candidate hasn't been replied to), you fix it without being asked.

  • Start-up DNA: You understand that "that’s not my job" is a phrase that doesn't exist here.

The Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points)

  • Sourcing Exposure: You have previously used LinkedIn Recruiter or similar tools to find people.

  • Content Creation: You have managed a social media account for a brand, university society, or community group.

  • Tool Familiarity: Experience with modern startup tools like Notion, Slack, Linear/Jira, or Ashby/Greenhouse (ATS) is a massive plus.
