About the role
As the Regional Director, you will oversee the execution and quality of concerts in several markets, as well as the operational process and strategy in the West region. Working closely with your team, you’ll lead inventory planning, regional & local innovation, and ensure each team hits specific KPIs for delivering memorable concerts for the Sofar Community.
Please note that this is a remote role and we're open to candidates located along the West Coast of the US, but preferably located in San Francisco or Los Angeles.
What you'll do:
- Manage Concert Operations goals & milestones, rollout and execute projects within your regional markets, including strategic priorities and partnerships.
- Manage budget, data analysis, P&L, and team performance for your region
- Skilled at creating and implementing, streamlined and efficient business and operational processes; evaluating related impact
- Day to day management and development of a team
- Help define Concert strategy and operational processes
- Be an expert on all areas of the department - present recommendations for improvements on ways of working
- Understand the community needs across your region & ops functions and how to support them
- Assist with the hiring of new team members
- Engage in quality control for all events
Who you are:
- You have 5-10 years of experience which includes team management, operations and customer experience, and P&L oversight
- You are an experienced operations leader who has a demonstrated track record of executing large-scale projects and scaling processes
- You’re a seasoned manager who has overseen and grown teams of 5+
- You’ve directly managed revenue-driving operations
- You’re a fluent cross-functional communicator. You know how to get into the weeds, but can zoom out to strategy
- You have previous experience in producing live events (music or otherwise)
- Bonus: you’re passionate about music, and have experience with customer service or hospitality
