Seated, a Sofar Artist Service, acts as a VIP Service provider for national and international touring artists. VIP Programs are activated as projects associated with individual artist tours. Some of these projects require local and/or touring support to execute the VIP programming at each stop on the tour.
As a Touring VIP Event Manager, you will be responsible for bringing VIP Programs to life on the road. This is a seasonal/temporary position. Please note that we're open to candidates based anywhere in the continental U.S. for this role, as long as they are able to commit to the tour travel requirements.

What you'll do:

  • Represent The Artist & The Company to fans who have purchased VIP packages
  • Communicate program needs with venues in advance of each show to arrange for required materials, support, equipment, and venue staff needed to execute the VIP program
  • Set up & manage the VIP program at each show on the tour routing, ensuring everything runs smoothly, safely, and on time.
  • Manage the VIP check-in process, including checking purchaser ID’s against a guest list, administering credentials, and distributing merchandise
  • Managing local VIP crew members
  • Count & record VIP merchandise totals at the beginning and end of each shift, bundle & distribute merchandise to package purchasers, pack and return remaining goods at the end of the shift
  • Connect with package holders - welcoming them & creating a warm, friendly & energized environment
  • On-site VIP fan support
  • Manage weekly expense reporting
  • Complete a nightly summary to share how the program went for fan support and management purposes

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years previous experience working on bus and truck music tours, artist handling experience is a must!
  • You have very strong interpersonal and customer service skills, especially in fast-paced situations
  • You’re friendly and committed to ensuring fans have the best experience
  • You’re good at working in new environments, solving problems on the fly, and asking questions
  • High level of comfort with Excel and Google Sheets
  • You’re detail oriented and notice potential issues before they become real problems
  • Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must be reliably able to attend every show on the routing
  • Valid Passport
  • No issues getting into Canada
  • Background Check Required
