We’re looking for an experienced Midweight Designer to join our Creative Team at Skin + Me. This is a hybrid working role with three days a week in our Paddington HQ (Mon, Tue, Fri) and two days remote.

About the role:

As a Midweight Designer at Skin + Me you will work with the team to conceptualise and deliver projects across both print and digital. Working closely with the Growth Marketing Team you’ll create exciting, effective, engaging and on-brand marketing campaigns across all of our channels.

This role has strong ties to the Copy, Growth and Commercial Teams, the successful candidate will thrive working autonomously and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have around 2+ years experience as a Midweight Designer, and have previously worked in the beauty industry.

What you'll do:

• As part of the Creative Team, you’ll work to conceptualise and deliver projects across a multitude of channels, both print and digital.
• You’ll work as part of our Growth Team to create exciting, effective, engaging and on-brand marketing campaigns across all of our channels. This includes paid and organic social, CRM, affiliates and print marketing.
• Create animations to be used across socials, as well as creating and editing short videos.
• Design and deliver print-ready artwork including pack design and promotional artwork.
• Collaborate with other areas of the business to find the most effective ways to hit our goals.
• Work on brand photoshoots end to end, from moodboarding and sourcing photographers through to support with styling and art direction and post-production.
• Contribute to wider company meetings to help develop creative ideas across the company.
• Provide guidance to more junior members of the team where needed.
• Be a brand guardian and a brand champion, ensuring high quality, consistent creative across all touchpoints.

What you’ll bring:

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar Midweight role, ideally with a beauty background
• A strong portfolio of print and digital work
• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, PremierePro and After Effects
• Knowledge of Figma desirable
• Experience in animation and video editing
• Experience in creating print-ready artwork, ideally including packaging design
• Photography and video skills desirable
• Incredible attention to detail
• Exceptional organisation, written and communication skills
• Ability to manage your workload and prioritise work to meet business needs
• A can-do approach, working well with other teams and designers to test a variety of design concepts
• Happy to work in a fast paced start-up environment
• An obsession with all things skincare
