Location: Paris office or Occitanie operations sites. Remote work possible with regular travel between locations and across France.

What you’ll do

At Semble, we’re seeking a one-of-a-kind Solutions Engineer to help bring our healthcare SaaS platform to the French market. This is your chance to build solutions that matter, work directly with clinicians, and make a real impact on millions of patients.

As our first Solutions Engineer in France, you’ll be our technical champion, connecting the needs of local healthcare providers with our platform across both pre-sales and post-sales (with an emphasis on pre-sales). You’ll work very closely with our Senior Solutions Engineer in the UK and our Commercial Director in France.

You'll be accountable to help drive revenue as a key stakeholder throughout the end-to-end customer lifecycle, from initial discovery and solution design through to successful implementation and ongoing customer success.

  • Lead technical pre-sales activities: collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs, design tailored solutions and deliver compelling presentations and demos.
  • Act as the technical expert for French customers, translating requirements into clear proposals and guiding them through discovery, solution design, and evaluation (including POCs).
  • Support post-sales implementation and onboarding, ensuring smooth handover and ongoing technical guidance for new customers.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, marketing, and customer success to keep teams aligned and up to speed on features, roadmaps, and market feedback.
  • Take ownership of internal projects that improve our demo environments, documentation, or commercial approach, flexing your problem-solving skills and creativity.
  • Represent Semble at industry events, trade shows, conferences, or on webinars.

What we are looking for

Essentials

  • 4+ years in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or similar B2B SaaS roles
  • Fluency in both French and English – including for the delivery of customer-facing presentations
  • Strong consultative sales / value-based selling skills
  • Strong technical proficiency with cloud architectures, APIs, and experience with Postman, SQL, and/or Python (though, you don’t need to be a ‘coder’)
  • Eager to learn, humble, and adaptable to new challenges
  • You’re comfortable with lots of ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment where processes and structure often have not yet been clearly defined
  • Excellent communicator, able to simplify complex concepts for any audience, and communicate effectively across internal teams
  • Proven track record achieving commercial targets / solutions consulting KPIs
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent documentation skills, experience mapping and documenting business processes / workflows and ability to follow established sales/post-sales processes.
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to align technical solutions to business needs
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying client needs and crafting effective solutions
  • Experience managing POCs and working closely with clients to showcase the value of technical solutions
  • Track record leading on successful RFP submissions
  • Excellent time management skills – you’re able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desirables

  • Previous experience with common sales methodologies e.g. MEDDPICC, SPICED, SPIN.
  • Experience in HealthTech, healthcare or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience working with international clients across various regions, ideally including France and the UK.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, information security / compliance standards, and data protection regulations (GDPR) within the healthcare industry.
