This internship is a unique opportunity to work closely with our Co-Founder & CEO and Executive team, contributing to the strategic, operational, and cultural aspects of scaling a high-growth HealthTech startup. Your work will have a direct impact on Semble’s success, enabling the Executive team to stay focused on delivering our mission while ensuring the business runs smoothly.

This role can be hybrid in the UK, with a preference for London-based candidates (regular travel to our London office). We are unfortunately not able to consider candidates located outside these locations at this stage. Other than Thursdays that need to be worked, we are flexible regarding the engagement arrangement.

What you will be doing

You will work at the heart of Semble alongside our Co-Founder & CEO and Executive team.

Strategic Oversight

  • Support the development and execution of the company’s strategic priorities.
  • Assist with company-wide goal-setting initiatives, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Organise and contribute to quarterly company reviews, providing key insights and reporting.
  • Monitor the progress of critical company initiatives, ensuring they stay on track.

Executive Team Support

  • Assist the CEO in running weekly executive team meetings and quarterly executive offsites, including preparing agendas, materials, and logistics.
  • Support the CEO in managing the company board through tasks such as monthly reporting, meeting preparation, stakeholder coordination, and drafting investor updates.
  • Document executive decisions, track follow-ups, and ensure decisions are effectively communicated across the business. Foster accountability within the executive team to drive alignment and execution.

Collaboration with the People Team and Executives

  • Champion Semble’s vision and mission, ensuring they are embedded across all initiatives.
  • Promote ways of working across the business to ensure alignment with our cultural drivers.
  • Facilitate team alignment and support managers, contributing to a cohesive team.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a proactive, results-driven individual who excels in fast-paced environments.

You should be highly organised, with a knack for managing multiple priorities and fostering strong, collaborative relationships across teams.

Essentials

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree or similar, ideally with a focus on entrepreneurship, strategy or business.
  • A previous experience in startup/scale-up (strategy/operations ideally) or consulting
  • Strong communication & presentation skills, and ability to influence & engage at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and organisational abilities, with attention to detail.
  • A collaborative and proactive mindset, with a focus on delivering results.
  • Resilience, adaptability, and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • A genuine passion for healthcare technology and its potential to transform the industry.
  • Experience in strategic frameworks, goal-setting methodologies, or executive-level project support.
  • Familiarity with management/facilitation tools such as Excel, Jira, and Miro.
  • Firsthand experience in the industry as a healthcare practitioner is a plus.
  • Fluency in the French language is a plus.
