Munich-based hybrid with lots of flexibility.
C1 or C2 German language is essential.

At Secfix, we’re at the forefront of automating security compliance in Europe. We help companies get and stay ISO 27001, GDPR, TISAX, and SOC 2 fast and easy and reduce hundreds of hours of manual work.

Secfix is run by a 100% remote team with hubs in Munich, Berlin and London. We’re a high-performing team looking for passionate, execution-focused, owners to help us automate security and compliance for modern companies and become the European compliance automation leader.

We’ve just raised our $12M Series A and are backed by top VCs, including Alstin Capital, Neosfer (Commerzbank), and Bayern Capital.

About the Role

We’re hiring an SMB Account Executive to run our fast-moving SMB sales motion in the DACH region.

This is a plug-and-play, high-velocity motion — around 80% of your pipeline comes to you inbound or pre-qualified by our BDR team, so most of your time is spent qualifying, demoing, and closing rather than prospecting from scratch.

This is an ideal first AE role for a BDR (ideally already promoted to Senior BDR) with ~1–2 years of experience who is hungry to make the jump into a closing role or an experienced AE who enjoys the high-velocity SMB sales cycle.

What You'll Do:

You will play a big role in one of the biggest levers we have for growing the company: generating demand and closing deals. We don’t (and can’t afford to) micro-manage. We have gathered many best practices and will give you full context on things that work. You will:

  • Own and drive net-new revenue across SMB accounts in DACH, working primarily from inbound and BDR-sourced pipeline (~80%), while self-generating the rest (~20%)

  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualification to close on a fast, ~30-day average sales cycle

  • Run structured discovery and demo calls, qualifying leads efficiently against a clear framework

  • Engage SMB decision-makers (founders, ops leads, and similar)

  • Translate compliance and security topics into clear, fast business value

  • Collaborate closely with the BDR team, product, and onboarding

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasts in HubSpot

  • Share market feedback to help refine SMB qualification, pitch, and playbook

About You:

  • ~1–2 years of experience as a BDR, ideally already promoted to Senior BDR, looking for your first AE role; or an experienced AE who enjoys the high-velocity SMB sales cycle

  • Competitive and hungry to close deals

  • You live sales and are always looking to learn and improve — we’re not looking for a fully “finished” or multi-threading-capable seller, the role will develop that

  • Comfortable operating in a fast, high-volume, demo-driven sales motion

  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently in German

  • Coachable — you’ll be closely supported and coached by our Head of Sales

  • Familiarity with sales tools (HubSpot, Clay, Apollo) is a plus

  • Munich-based, or willing to be for in-person interview and onboarding stages

Nice-to-have:

  • Some exposure to demo calls or closing, even informally

  • Experience in an early-stage startup environment

  • Academic or extracurricular track record of high achievement (top university, competitive sports, etc.)

  • Exposure to compliance, information security, risk, or GRC topics
