About the team you'll be joining

As the most senior marketer in the business,you’ll be leading a full stack marketing team across product marketing, growth marketing, CRM, brand, partnerships and social with the opportunity to bring in freelancers and agencies for additional coverage. You’ll partner closely with Data, Design, and Product to make sure that messaging and campaigns are hitting those sweet spots in the market. But it’s not all people management; as a seasoned Marketer you’ll of course own the strategy, budgets, and partnerships, collaborating with clients, freelancers, and investors.

About the role

This is a 12 month FTC (on a 4 day week), coming in to cover our existing Marketing Lead. We’re about to embark on a period of growth and you’ll be working closely with Finance, Design, Product, and Data to make sure that we’re acquiring, engaging, and retaining users, to drive growth and, ultimately, revenue while building a world-class brand. You will be the guardian and champion of 1.5m Seatfrog customers (and growing!). You’ll be tight across key user behaviour metrics (MAUs, Upgrade volume, cross sell/upsell) and own Marketing’s role in key commercials (ARPU, LTV, CACs). To succeed in this role you’ll have to be highly collaborative, influential, strategic, data-driven decisive - backed by strong marketing leadership and fundamentals.

What You'll Do

  • Marketing Strategy.
  • Build, lead, and execute a full-stack marketing strategy & plan aligned with overall company objectives
  • Partner with research and product teams to know and understand Seatfrog’s current and future customers. Champion them in the business.
  • Build and foster a world-class brand.
  • Oversee PR and maximise it’s benefits to drive awareness for Seatfrog’s products and services.
  • Reporting, Budget & Commercials.
  • Define, track, and report against OKRs for marketing performance across the full stack and full funnel
  • Oversee attribution modelling and measurement frameworks to ensure spend efficiency.
  • Manage the marketing budget: allocating resources across brand, performance, and product marketing for maximum ROI.
  • Acquire & Retain new Seatfrog customers.
  • Lead and scale acquisition and retention efforts to drive compounding MAU growth across performance marketing and CRM.
  • Optimise CAC and drive incremental growth through channel testing and performance analysis.
  • In partnership with the Product team, build best-in-class customer journeys that are sticky and drive engagement through a customer’s lifecycle.
  • Experimentation. Champion a test-and-learn culture, balancing scrappy execution with long-term brand and growth initiatives.

  • Partner with product and design to drive customer and competitor insights to inform strategy and positioning.
  • Align internal stakeholders and the wider business around key marketing priorities.
  • Work strategically with key partners to drive volume and awareness.
  • Lead a growing marketing team.
  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, including hiring, coaching and performance management.
  • Foster a collaborative, energetic, and commercially-minded marketing culture.

You'll Have Experience In

  • Marketing at consumer brand mobile apps
  • High growth startups/scaleups
  • Collaborating with cross functional Product and Engineering squads
  • Managing relationships at leadership and C-Level
  • Bonus: experience in travel or trains
