The Role
RemoFirst is seeking an experienced Partnerships & Business Development Lead to drive strategic growth initiatives across the Globe. This is a highly outbound-focused, hunter-style role responsible for proactively sourcing, engaging, and developing new partnership and business development opportunities that directly contribute to revenue growth and brand expansion.
We are looking for someone who thrives on outbound prospecting, enjoys opening doors and building relationships from scratch, and is energized by creating new opportunities through consistent outreach and communication. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a hunter mentality who is excited to own pipeline generation, activate strategic partnerships, and build scalable referral channels.
This is a full-time, fully remote position based in the United States.
The Partnerships & Business Development Lead will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, negotiating, and activating strategic partnerships and business development relationships with institutions, organizations, and aligned businesses. Success in this role requires exceptional communication skills, strong commercial judgment, relationship-building capabilities, and a proactive outbound approach.
What you'll be doing:
- Prospect, identify, and engage potential partners through outbound outreach, networking, and relationship-building activities
- Develop strategic relationships with providers, associations, organizations, and aligned businesses
- Collaborate with partners on co-marketing initiatives, joint events, and engagement activities
- Coordinate partnership lifecycle activities including onboarding, activation, performance evaluation, and renewal
- Act as the primary relationship manager and trusted advisor for assigned partners
- Create and nurture long-term relationships that drive repeatable lead generation and revenue growth
- Represent RemoFirst confidently in meetings, presentations, networking events, and partner discussions
- Own and execute a highly outbound strategy to generate new opportunities and referral channels
- Build and manage outbound sequences and campaigns to drive consistent pipeline generation
- Identify and secure new business development relationships aligned with target market
- Negotiate, structure, and execute partnership and referral agreements
Outbound Partnerships
Focused on building, managing, and activating partner relationships that generate referrals, co-marketing value, and long-term collaboration.
Business Development
Focused on generating new revenue opportunities, structuring deals, and building scalable growth channels through partnerships and agreements.
What you’ll need:
1–2 years of experience in outbound sales, partnerships, business development, or lead generation roles
Proven hunter mentality with a proactive, outbound-first approach to building pipeline and partnerships
Experience building and running outbound sequences and outreach campaigns
Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop trust quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, presentations, and partner engagement
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to own and build processes from the ground up
Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Outgoing, self-motivated, and energized by creating new opportunities through outreach and relationship development
Must be based in the U.S. for travel purposes and ability to travel from time to time
Proficient in spoken and written English
