As an Accounts Payable Manager at RemoFirst, you’ll be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and reviewing payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions. Also, you’ll be establishing relationships with a variety of decision-makers within our ecosystem, while preparing and maintaining accurate records and financial reports related to budgets, expenses, payroll transactions, etc. We are in the process of building out a world-class HR solution and we’re bringing together a team of leaders with a passion for developing and growing.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner Invoice & Payment Management
- Oversee the full AP cycle — from invoice receipt and validation to approval and payment.
- Review and reconcile client funding vs. partner payments to ensure accurate cash flow alignment.
- Coordinate multi-currency payments, ensuring compliance with local banking and tax regulations.
- Verify partner invoices for compliance with contract terms, tax rules, and internal finance policies.
- Compliance & Internal Controls
- Maintain a robust approval workflow for invoices and payments in accordance with internal authorization levels.
- Implement periodic partner payment reconciliations and documentation audits.
- Reporting & Reconciliation
- Generate and analyze AP aging reports; monitor overdue invoices and cash flow needs.
- Collaborate with AR (Accounts Receivable) to ensure financial data consistency across systems.
- Process Improvement & Automation
- Develop and maintain standardized templates and SOPs for AP processes.
- Streamline cross-team communication
What you’ll need:
- 3-4 years of experience as a Finance, Payroll, Auditor, or Accountant.
- A finance background is definitely a plus.
- Experience working with cross-border entities and EOR / PEO models preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication, additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple deadlines, and manage stakeholders across time zones.

- Analysis: you will use analytical skills when working with payrolls, finance reports, creating budgets, and forecasting profit and loss. You need to be able to look at all options in order to present a comprehensive, understandable analysis.
- Attention to detail: will help you to maintain accuracy when dealing with numbers. Since you’ll oversee how and where a company spends the money and how and where it accumulates profit, you must divide your attention to the many financial functions of a business.
- Organization skills: will help you deal with many different financial documents, including spreadsheets, contracts, calculations, and projections.
