Senior Strategic Finance Manager
Raylo
Why We Exist
At Raylo, we’re on a mission to accelerate the move to a circular economy. The only way customers and manufacturers will make that shift is if it’s simple and cost-effective - this is where we come in. We’re building a category-defining global subscription infrastructure, making premium tech accessible and affordable for both consumers and businesses. With over 180,000 subscribers in the UK and growth accelerating - we’ve proven the demand for a smarter, more sustainable way to access technology.
Raylo is a fast-growing and profitable company, backed by global investors including Macquarie, NatWest, and Channel 4 Ventures.
We are proud to have been selected for Endeavor’s network in 2024, underscoring our role as a high-impact, mission-driven business with global ambitions. And in 2025 we were recognised as part of Tech Nation’s UK’s Future Fifty programme.
We have been B-Corp certified since 2021 and were recently acknowledged by S&P Global for the positive impact of our circular business model via a Green Financing with NatWest.
At Raylo, performance matters. We set ambitious goals, move fast, and hold ourselves to a high standard, because our mission is too important to settle for less.
Our Core Values
💡 Be deeply curious – We thrive on innovation through diverse approaches, views, and people.
👟 Walk in your customer’s shoes – To build the best products and make the best decisions for the long term, we must figure out what our customers need, not just what they want.
🎯 Focus and execute – We have a big vision, but we believe in nailing the most important problems first.
💥 Be gritty – Only gritty teams succeed. Our individual ownership, passion, and perseverance mean we’re a team through thick and thin.
What to Expect
Raylo operates a balance-sheet-led, vertically integrated subscription and leasing model. Strategic Finance influences decision-making across growth, pricing, risk, capital structure, and unit economics.
This role reports to the Head of Strategic Finance and is intended to be a true backfill on modelling and analytical ownership, while expanding SLT business partnering capacity.
This role combines:
- Full ownership of Raylo’s financial model;
- Business partnering with SLT to improve business performance;
- Involvement in projects or initiatives to support cross-functional objectives; and
- Preparation of external materials to support investor relations and fundraising
Given the complexity of the business, success in this role will require an analytical mindset with strong financial modelling skills, comfort working directly with data, a high bar for accuracy, and strong business judgment and stakeholder influence.
What You’ll Do
1. Financial modelling and unit economics
- Own and maintain Raylo’s financial model (P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, covenants)
- Take full accountability for model logic, assumptions, accuracy, and outputs
- Lead on scenario analysis and stress testing to support strategic decision-making, capital allocation decisions and growth planning
- Ensure analysis is robust, auditable and trusted by senior leadership
2. Strategic business partnering
- Support senior stakeholders with structure, frameworks, and analytical insights to enable better decisions
- Be pragmatic and enable progress, not block it, despite competing priorities or imperfect information
3. Data analysis, analytical rigour and decision support
- Comfortable working directly with data; SQL experience or clear willingness to upskill
- Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations for SLT
- Independently frame ambiguous problems and execute analyses end-to-end
- High bar for attention to detail – errors are identified, challenged, and resolved proactively
4. Investor and board-level communication
- Produce high-quality investor and board materials at the right level of altitude
- Support fundraising, lender discussions, and strategic partner conversations, as required

After 12 months
- Operating as a true extension of the Head of Strategic Finance, able to self-serve and set own objectives
- Leading analytical work streams independently with little hand-holding
- Starting to be trusted with larger-scope internal cross-functional initiatives
- Formed strong relationships across mid and senior-level layers; trusted as a go-to partner for insights, and able to navigate the organisation to get what they need

- Leveraging AI to improve productivity and outputs
- Ability to independently structure and execute complex analytical work
