What to expect in this role...
We are entering an exciting stage of our journey at Raylo as we approach a key fundraising milestone that will rapidly propel our growth. To continue building a robust finance function with capability to deliver results for the business, we are searching for a highly driven qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) to join us.
You will work alongside our growing finance team. You will take ownership of key processes and reporting obligations within the finance function. You will have the opportunity to gain great experience in technical accounting and also work on key strategic projects to prepare the business for scale.
You’ll play a key role in the following:
> Cash management by preparing the calculations and executing the documentation
> Monthly debt reporting obligations
> Assisting with the operation and optimisation of debt facilities (drawdowns, interest payments, etc)
> Optimising the management of devices enrolled with forward purchase agreement partner
> Preparation of monthly management accounts
> Process improvement of our asset management
> The completion of external regulatory compliance requirements and the coordination of all company audits.
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing finance function within a fast-paced business which will ensure you have scope to be involved in key strategic projects. You’ll also have the opportunity to utilise your expertise, with a focus on process improvement to optimise the efficiency of the finance function. Your ability to critically analyse and draw important insights for a range of stakeholders will also have a real-time influence on business decisions.

- Being deeply curious to understand a complex finance function- Implementing technical accounting.
- Demonstrating adaptability exemplified by working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Consistently delivering in line with deadlines and can work ‘smart’ to manage your time accordingly.
- Taking ownership and responsibility over your projects.
- Understanding how to take complex data and turn it into succinct actionable insights
- Excel (Experience in Data Analytics - SQL and Looker are a bonus).
- Relishing the opportunity to use data to challenge existing thought processes and drive meaningful change.
- Using Xero or a similar cloud-based accounting software.
