Prima Mente is a frontier biology AI lab. We generate our own data, build general purpose biological foundation models, and translate discoveries into research and clinical outcomes. About this role

We’re looking for an exceptional operator: someone who can take messy, high-stakes work and turn it into structured, scalable execution. If you’ve built project systems from scratch before, thrive in ambiguity, and care deeply about delivery, you’ll likely feel at home here. Clinical or research experience is a bonus; what matters more is judgement, ownership, and the ability to make things work when there is no rulebook.

This is a delivery and ownership role. As a Project Manager at Prima Mente, you will be the primary outward-facing operator for our clinical programs — working directly with sites, clinicians, and partners to ensure studies recruit well, run smoothly, and deliver high-quality data. You will still improve processes and build systems, but your defining feature is that you own outcomes. You are the person sites recognise, trust, and turn to when something matters.

Role focus

As a Project Manager, you will own the delivery of clinical and research programs end to end.

You’ll be the key interface between:

• trial sites and clinicians,

• participants and recruitment pathways,

• internal clinical, laboratory, and software teams.

Your job is to ensure that studies recruit, retain, and deliver, while continuously improving how we operate at scale.

What you’ll work on

• Act as the primary point of contact for trial sites, building strong, trusted relationships.

• Own site engagement, onboarding, and ongoing performance.

• Lead recruitment planning, tracking, and optimisation across sites.

• Monitor delivery metrics (recruitment, retention, timelines) and intervene early when things drift.

• Work closely with CRAs to ensure documentation, logistics, and compliance are complete.

• Identify friction in clinical workflows and design better systems to support delivery.

• Build scalable solutions — including improved processes, automation (LLM-powered where useful), analytics, or new internal tools.

• Coordinate across clinical ops, labs, software, and external partners.

• Travel to sites as needed to support delivery and maintain strong relationships.
  

What we’re looking for

• Strong generalist & problem solver You thrive in ambiguity, apply first-principles thinking, and structure messy problem spaces.

• Process builder You’ve built delivery or project systems from scratch and know how to make them stick.

• Crewmate mentality You optimise for team productivity, work closely with CRAs and specialists, and take responsibility for the mission as a whole.

Clinical experience is a bonus, not a requirement. Ownership, judgement, and execution matter more.
