We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Maintenance Technician to join our team at Arena Online Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, electrical knowledge, and experience in troubleshooting and maintaining industrial equipment.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of machinery and facilities to minimise downtime and improve overall efficiency within our warehouse.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, working from our site in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire.

Key Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance:

● Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment.

● Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.

● Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctions in mechanical and electrical systems.

Repair and Replacement:

● Execute repairs on faulty equipment, machinery, or systems promptly.

● Replace defective components or parts as needed.

● Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of spare parts.

Preventive Maintenance:

● Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.

● Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any unusual findings.

Facility Maintenance:

● Monitor and maintain the overall condition of the facility.

● Address any issues related to plumbing, HVAC, lighting, etc.

● Coordinate with external service providers for specialised maintenance tasks.

Safety Compliance:

● Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing maintenance tasks.

● Identify potential safety hazards and take corrective actions.

Documentation:

● Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts used, and time spent.

● Generate reports on equipment status and maintenance trends.

Collaboration:

● Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities that minimise disruptions.

● Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding maintenance issues and updates.
