You will be supporting our engineering team with a wide range of IT queries so that they can focus on developing our rocket engines!
This role is on site in Hvidovre on a part time basis, around 20 hours per week. The exact hours are negotiable and can be somewhat flexible. We are a family friendly organisation and are happy to tailor working hours around childcare/school hours.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
You will be supporting and maintaining the Servers and Desktops operating systems and Microsoft Office 365 environment. Additionally you will be providing general maintenance of all IT-related hardware/software. You will be exposed to a broad range of IT-related projects and activities.
From setting up laptops for new starters, dealing with 1st line support tickets and more, you will work closely with our UK based IT manager to provide excellent experience for all of the staff in Denmark.
The role will be broad, with good opportunities to grow and make the job your own, and we will provide significant training.
Responsibilities of the role:
- To provide 1st, Line desk side and remote IT support
- Solve Company-wide information systems problems
- Maintain security arrangements for all IT systems
- Assist with and implement IT solutions (hardware and software) to assist in achieving business targets
- Maximise and promote system utilisation by all users, providing relevant training where necessary
- Maintain documentation for all systems (hardware and software). To include all applications installed and network topology/diagrams
- Assist with software licensing to ensure legality
- Undertake system monitoring, including disk space and maintenance to ensure system integrity, and minimisation of down time
- Undertake network cabling adjustments as and when requested to ensure all PCs and peripheral devices are connected and accessible

This role is based in Copenhagen at Orbex’s propulsion engineering and manufacturing site
