How You Will Make an Impact:

Directors of Product Management at Opensignal have a significant impact on the company’s future, making this role both rewarding and challenging. As key members of business unit leadership teams, Directors of Product Management work cross-functionally with sales, technical product directors, and client service delivery teams to ensure our products are aligned with business goals and deliver exceptional value for clients.

What Will You Be Doing? This role will focus on expanding Opensignal’s market-leading Subscriber Analytics solutions. This collaborative and cross-functional role comes with significant visibility within the company.

Responsibilities

  • International Product Roadmap Development: Lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, aligning with the company’s vision, market demands, and strategic goals for new international markets.
  • Global Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities and inform product development strategies.
  • High-Level Requirement Documentation: Define and document high-level product and business requirements, ensuring clear communication and alignment across international stakeholders.
  • Pricing and GTM Strategy: Develop and implement pricing, packaging, and go-to-market (GTM) strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth in new geographies.
  • Customer Advocacy in New Markets: Serve as the “voice of the customer” across international markets to ensure product development aligns with unique customer needs and preferences.
  • Messaging and Positioning: Craft clear and compelling messaging and positioning for new product features and releases tailored to international markets, ensuring effective communication.
  • UAT and International Launch Support: Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT) processes and provide robust support for go-to-market (GTM) activities to ensure successful product launches globally.
  • Ongoing Competitive Analysis: Conduct continuous competitive analysis to identify macro trends, emerging threats, and opportunities, and develop strategic responses.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and finance teams to ensure cohesive product development and execution across markets.
  • Customer Feedback Integration: Continuously refine the product based on customer feedback from international markets, ensuring it meets global market demands and enhances customer satisfaction.

Desired Skills & Abilities

  • 10+ years overall experience in product management, marketing analysis, or professional services
  • Advanced data analytics skills (SQL, Excel) to support pre-sales and UAT efforts
  • Significant commercial telecoms industry knowledge in sectors such as wireless, cable, broadband, mobile devices, and enterprise networking
  • Ability to engage/consult with c-suite to understand needs --> product strategy
  • Ability to identify inputs, plus build (or co-build) a product/solution business case
  • Experience developing Products and solutions that deliver value in multiple geographies
  • Experience as a Product Manager for B2B products
  • Experience working cross-functionally, including technical and market-facing teams
  • Self-starter who can quickly learn new products from scratch and identify their key differentiators
  • Strong business communication skills and ability to create visually compelling slides
  • Attention to detail, including command of technical product information
  • Experience with Big Data and data analysis, in a development or delivery role
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced and unstructured environments
