The opportunity: Product Analyst

Together with our Product Managers and engineering team, you will drive the product team towards delivery. As the linking pin between business and engineering, you perform detailed analysis, gather requirements, and are responsible for writing requirements and user stories. Your aim is to deliver value to the users of our products.

Given that most of our team is located in the Netherlands, we only consider candidates for this position who live within commuting distance to our office in Amsterdam.

What you'll do in this role:

  • Write product requirements, non-functional requirements and user stories

  • Form a team with our product managers to analyze, monitor, and understand the needs and problems of our platform users

  • Define and analyze metrics that provide insights into product success, focusing on identifying and monitoring key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional units (e.g., engineering, commercial, operational team) to ensure alignment between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility of valuable solutions for our platform

What you bring to the table:

  • 5 years of experience as a Product Analyst

  • Strong analytical skills to identify business problems, evaluate options, and make recommendations based on data and collected information.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively convey ideas, facilitate discussions, and negotiate/build relationships with stakeholders, engineering teams, and Product Managers

  • Exceptional skills to create clear and concise product requirements, non-functional requirements and user stories.

  • Technical proficiency to be a valuable partner for our engineering teams

  • Effective problem-solving skills are needed to identify and address challenges and issues that arise.

  • Keen attention to detail to ensure that requirements and documentation are accurate and complete.

  • Ability to think strategically about product opportunities and challenges, and to support in prioritization of initiatives accordingly.

  • Excellent English communication skills
