Are you a versatile pace setter, strong strategist and serious operator who will thrive as the anchor point for a fast-moving, venture backed company? Do you feel ready to step up and be trusted to run the day-to-day, and act as a founders right hand? If owning the London operation of a category-defining AI therapy company, while partnering closely with a New York–based CEO, sounds like your kind of challenge, we should talk.

At Mojo we believe the quality of our lives is built on the quality of our relationships.

And in this regard, society is in crisis. 60% of couples are unhappy, 1 in 3 young people haven’t had sex in the last year, 61% experience weekly loneliness, and millennials and Gen Z face a 31x increase in psychological sexual issues since 2000. Modern life is drowning people in screens, bad advice, and unrealistic expectations.

Mojo is the world’s first AI Sex & Relationship Therapist, making expert psychological support accessible exactly when and where people need it most. We combine 50+ years of sexology research with frontier AI technology to deliver scalable, affordable, and shame-free support.

With 1M+ members across 150 countries, we've experienced incredible global growth backed by two of Europe's top VC firms. You might have even seen us on the front cover of the Sunday Times. With offices in New York and London, Mojo's vision is a world where quality intimate relationships are the foundation of mental health and human flourishing.

The Role

This is a London-based Chief of Staff role with significant ownership of our UK team and operations.

Our founder is based in New York. You will be the most senior operator on the ground in London and act as the CEO’s trusted right hand, running the London office, keeping the company operating smoothly day-to-day, and ensuring nothing important drops between time zones.

You’ll work closely with the CEO being his proxy across internal decision-making and being the connective tissue between UK and US teams.

As an early-stage startup, this role comes with significant autonomy and trust. The scope will evolve as the company grows, and you should be excited by responsibility, ambiguity, and being “the person who makes things work.”

  • Owning core business operations across people, legal, compliance, and governance as the company scales across the UK & US
  • Running our finance function with external accounting support, including budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and investor reporting
  • Preparing the company for Series A fundraising, including financial models, data rooms, and internal readiness
  • Coordinating and negotiating with external advisors and translating advice into clear internal plans
  • Working closely with the senior leadership team to improve ways of working, decision-making clarity, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Identifying and leading high-leverage strategic projects that don’t have a natural functional owner
  • Acting as a calm, trusted problem-solver, bringing structure to ambiguity and momentum to complex problems

We are building a team of people that have real ownership over the business. To be successful here, you should be willing to roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty on anything that will help the business be more successful.

You are:

  • A highly capable operator with +4 years experience in fast-growing startups or consulting or Venture Capital
  • Comfortable acting as a founder’s right hand, holding context, making judgement calls, and driving execution
  • Equally strong at strategy and detail, happy building a model one moment and running a company All Hands meeting the next
  • Organised, reliable, and trusted to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Commercially and financially literate, with experience owning or partnering closely on finance
  • Confident working across functions and seniorities, and able to bring clarity without ego
  • Motivated by ownership, responsibility, and building something meaningful from the inside
  • Willing to roll your sleeves up and do whatever is needed to move the business forward
  • Compassion, empathy, understanding, or interest in mental health
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest tools and trends
  • £110-120k, with chunky seed round equity package
  • Private health, optical, audiological, and dental insurance with Vitality Health
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in and 2 days out, with great offices in Old Street
  • Three remote working fortnights a year (read more in our handbook)
  • 36 days off (inc local bank holidays)
  • Parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers
  • Workplace nursery benefit and emergency child-sitting allowance
  • Monthly team outings
  • £500 personal wellbeing budget
  • Unlimited professional development allowance
  • A £100 budget for noise-cancelling headphones to help with deep work
  • Cycle to work scheme and Santander Cycles membership
