ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Creative Services Artist to join our growing team.

The successful applicant will work alongside the Creative Services Manager to provide a full suite of creative services, including game packaging inlays, marketing assets for use on digital stores, event banners, trailers, merchandise and more.

The role focuses on technical art reworking for marketing purposes with some occasional original artwork creation. The successful applicant will need to have an eye for detail as artwork passes through multiple brand approval stages.

We’re looking for someone who works well within a team. An interest in video games would be a bonus.

This role will be based in our bright & spacious office in Chelford, Cheshire. Attendance to the office will be required. We are currently working 3 days in the office and 2 days at home.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Help design promotional material for digital and physical events and announcements, like banners, merchandise, and videos.

• Work with the marketing team to create art assets for use on digital storefronts and other marketing requirements.

• Create and modify templates to be used for events, packaging, and promotional materials.

• Coordinate with the marketing and production teams to edit gameplay capture.

• Creating, editing and reviewing packaging.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Experience in a similar role.

• Good artistic skills with a good understanding of composition and colour theory.

• A good knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Acrobat.

• Good problem-solving skills, attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

• Strong written skills.

• Good video editing skills.

• A basic understanding of colour profiles and modes for digital and physical artwork with a general understanding of digital to ink colour conversion and manipulation.

• A good understanding of file formats and conversion methods is a bonus.

• An understanding of the Unreal and Unity game engines is a bonus but not required.

• A basic knowledge of Blender is also a bonus but not required.

 Salary range is £25k to £30k dependant on experience.
