The Role

We are recruiting for a driven, hands-on Country Manager / Lead to drive our commercial entry into Australia. This is a sales-led role: you’ll be responsible for building pipelines, closing deals, and establishing the early customer base, while also shaping our positioning and ecosystem locally. You’ll work closely with the global sales and product teams to ensure success in the market and lay the groundwork for future growth.

You will be responsible for:

  • Sell and Win Early Customers: Personally lead the sales cycle - from prospecting and pitching through to closing and onboarding establishing our first wave of Australian clients.
  • Build Pipeline & Ecosystem: Develop and manage executive level relationships with AML consultants, resellers, and integration partners as channel and lead-gen engines.
  • Local Positioning: Adapt messaging and product positioning alongside marketing for the Australian market, ensuring we tell the right story to the right audiences in the right way
  • Partnership Development: Establish additional strategic partnerships across the ecosystem to accelerate awareness and trust.
  • Launch & Account Management: Take accountability for go-lives, ensure early customer success, and manage ongoing relationships with strategic customers.
  • Market Intelligence: Capture and analyse win/loss reasons , customer feedback, and usage insights from across the team. be primary conduit to leadership and Product to sharpen our go-to-market and product-market fit.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues in the UK and global teams to align sales strategy, share best practices, and leverage resources

About You:

  • Proven SaaS leader with a track record of winning new business in professional services or regulated markets.

  • Hands-on closer, comfortable driving the full sales cycle - from hunting to contracting to account management.

  • Skilled in building early-market ecosystems: consultants, resellers, integration partners.

  • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategy, with the ability to adapt global positioning to local context.

  • Commercially curious: able to uncover why deals are won or lost, and turn those insights into sharper execution.

  • Entrepreneurial, scrappy, and motivated by the challenge of opening a new market
