The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, to play the lead role in building and executing Legl’s marketing strategy. You’ll initially report into the CEO, and work cross-functionally with our incredible product, sales and CX teams; you’ll be responsible for delivering marketing outcomes across the business.
At the strategic level, you’ll be accountable for designing, and delivering our overall marketing plan. Day-to-day, you’ll be owning at least one channel, overseeing content, GTM and other channels, and leveraging a mix of in-house resources (dedicated team members) and budget.
In other words, you’re an agile thinker and doer, who can get to grips with the industry, our product, and the client base, and design and execute on a plan both through managing a team and doing some execution yourself.
How would we describe success?
Success in this role after 6 months looks like:
- You’ve built a clear plan linked to concrete outcomes;
- You’ve iterated, made mistakes, learned from them;
- You’re demonstrating progress towards the outcomes you’ve set.
Requirements
- Agility, and the ability to work collaboratively across different teams and disciplines
- First principles thinking – you can work backwards from the problem we’re trying to solve and come up with a plan, and quickly move to execute on it
- Demonstrated ability to own at least one channel (digital, events, content), use data to iterate and to report on success.
- The ability to leverage technology, tooling and data to drive successful outcomes.
- Ideally, you have legal industry expertise – with law firms, lawyers and their technology stacks. You know how to talk to lawyers and can understand their pain points and different ways to solve them.
