The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our Direct Sales team at KatKin. This role is integral for the team performance and is key to success for this channel, with substantial impact on KatKin's next phase of growth. You will be coordinating hundreds of events and exploring new channels with senior leaders of the business, conduct analysis and program manage the Direct Sales channel. This is a fantastic opportunity for self-starters to shape the role and the team.
Key ownership areas
  • Proactively look for event opportunities or market opportunities for KatKin to run direct sales activities, including indoor/outdoor shows and exhibitions, Pop up retail space, street market opportunities etc.

  • Make event bookings for direct sales, manage applications and understand asset requirements, and manage event submissions like H&S reports, name card etc.

  • Create briefs for creative assets needed for events in collaboration with wider team

  • Organise assets to be in order all the time, and the logistics of the assets

  • Organise and manage rota for Brand Ambassadors (BAs), including planning their travel and accomodation in line with budget

  • Organise event set up and breakdown with BAs or drivers

  • Report sales actuals and develop reporting and deep dive metrics to support sales effectiveness and BA performances

  • Manage BA monthly payment

  • Help organise BA training

  • Support long term plan of the channel scaling up

  • Support hiring and hiring requirement

  • In low seasons of the events, support other growth initiatives and develop other direct sales methods beyond events
