Role
Are you passionate about democratizing robotics and making cutting-edge technology accessible for all? We are seeking highly motivated and talented interns to join our dynamic team and contribute to the advancement of robotics in an exciting internship opportunity.
In this role, you will support the design, development, and maintenance of specialized tooling that facilitates the code-centric authoring and management of robotics and automation solutions. You will work closely with customer solution engineers and product development teams to ensure the resulting systems are easy to use and fit for purpose, focusing on efficiently deploying complex automated industrial systems.
How your work moves the mission forward
- Contribute towards the development of robotics software, including our platform Flowstate.
- Collaborate with customer solution engineers and a team of experienced professionals in modern software development practices.
- Implement tools to manage automation solutions using languages such as Python, C++ and TypeScript.
- Assist in the development and shipping of software features for efficient solution deployment.
- Ensure systematic testing and validation, including CI with unit and integration tests.
Skills you will need to be successful
- Bachelor’s student in Computer Science or related field required (Master's students preferred)
- Knowledge and proficiency in Python, C++ and ROS
- Experience with modern software architecture design and development practices for complex, full-stack software
- Demonstrated understanding and ideally practical experience with sensor guided robot and automation systems (through internships or lab work)
