Role
As an Office Operations Manager, you're at the heart of your team's operations and activities and the soul that keeps your team moving forward. We’re looking for a goal-oriented Office Operations Manager to support our growing Singapore office. This high-impact role oversees office programs and services, plays a critical part in the employee experience, and manages our Singapore facilities and work environment. You will be the primary Administrative Business Partner to the General Manager, including extensive administrative support such as managing calendars, travel, and expenses, with the potential to offer similar, lighter-touch support to other senior leaders as the team grows. This role is essential in driving the team goals to create an inspiring and fun employee experience for Intrinsic.

How your work moves the mission forward
- Create an exceptional employee experience by building, scaling, and overseeing office events, programs, policies, and budgets to create efficient processes, ensure high standards, and find innovative solutions.
- Be a strategic Administrative Business Partner by anticipating the needs of the General Manager and team members, resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise, and helping the team stay focused on their key projects.
- Support the General Manager by providing strategic calendar management, assisting with travel and hotel logistics, obtaining visas (if necessary), time planning, and managing expense reports.
- Be a focal point of the local team and create a high-standard office experience by managing office facilities, reception experience, check-in systems, office communications, partner and prospect office visits, food, beverage & supplies inventory, mail & couriers, facilities services as well as troubleshooting office issues.
- Build efficiency and effective responsiveness into existing operations, and proactively help define and implement new operational strategies.
- Mentor new team members and serve as a resource for administrative best practices across the local team.
- Partner with the General Manager to plan and manage office space utilization, including at times working with construction, office design, and furniture layout.
- Partner with Intrinsic’s People, Legal, and Finance teams to support recruiting, track legal processes, and manage purchasing and vendor engagements within budget.
- Lead and program manage various small and medium projects as invited, navigating ambiguity, and diving into challenging and meaningful tasks.
- Partner with global E/ABPs and Office Operations Managers to support annual global offsite planning and execution, scheduling performance and engagement reviews and integrating new processes and/or policies to be able to work cross collaboratively.
Skills you will need to be successful
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of applicable experience overseeing office operations, facilities, supplier and vendor management, budgeting and office moves for a start-up or growing office.
- Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to confidently engage with diverse internal teams, external clients, and vendors, while also effectively communicating with senior leadership and executives
- Proficient verbal and written communication and fluency in English required. Additional fluency in Chinese is preferred.

- Experience serving as a Program Manager or Lead on small to medium-sized projects outside of core administrative duties.
