Role
As a Senior Robotics Software Engineer focused on Intelligent Manufacturing Automation, you will spearhead the development and deployment of sophisticated robotic solutions for factory environments, primarily utilizing the Intrinsic platform. You will be integral from the initial concept stages, working alongside industry partners to advance the field of automated manufacturing by extending our core technology, developing cutting-edge software features, and deploying impactful robotic systems within production settings.
How your work moves the mission forward
- Lead the technical development of advanced robotic automation solutions for manufacturing environments, utilizing the Intrinsic platform and integrating AI.
- Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality software features to expand the Intrinsic platform's capabilities.
- Document designs, processes, and results, communicating effectively with internal technical teams and development partners.
- Collaborate closely with our industry partners to successfully deploy developed automation solutions and systems into manufacturing settings.
Skills you will need to be successful
- Master’s degree or equivalent practical background in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- Proven track record developing and deploying industrial robotics and automation solutions within manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong professional programming proficiency with C++ and/or Python.
- Demonstrated capability in technical leadership, including setting project direction and guiding development efforts towards successful outcomes.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal cross-functional teams and external technical partners.
Skills that will differentiate your candidacy
- Experience with ROS 2 and its major frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability developing and deploying applications using technologies such as Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, Bazel, microservice architectures, and/or real-time systems.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, primarily for internal collaboration or partner/site integration activities.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $222,000 - 235,8075 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
