Role

As the Intrinsic Legal team’s legal ops lead, you will develop and scale processes that will help the Legal team deliver better, faster and more efficient services. You'll run our CLM and commercial contracting processes to come up with practical and innovative solutions for Intrinsic. You’ll manage the legal team’s finances, spend on vendors, technology solutions and outside counsel, knowledge and document management, and the patent portfolio. You’ll be a driving force behind the success of the team, working cross-functionally with our partners in finance, BD and operations to improve communication and coordination. You're an independent thinker who is curious, has initiative and is meticulous with detail.

Areas we expect you to make an impact

• Implement our contract lifecycle management (CLM) platform and constantly improve our commercial contracting processes with playbooks, templates, guidance materials and self-serve processes.
• Review commercial agreements and triage for legal escalation as needed.
• Represent the legal team and interface with Revenue, Marketing, Finance and Compliance teams to develop scalable operational processes incorporating industry best practices and enabling long term growth
• Define, launch and drive strategic and operational enhancements to the Legal team’s processes
• Manage Legal team finances, including invoice collection and payment, budgeting, forecasting and identification of performance trends
• Lead point of contact for all legal vendor, outside counsel and technology solution provider relationships, including provisioning and onboarding, operation, troubleshooting, and performance management.
• Support IP programs such as patent harvesting and IP portfolio management
• Support Legal team functions such as onboarding, learning and development programs, team offsites, knowledge management and records management.

What you should have

• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in paralegal, legal operations or legal role in a large multinational company, legal department or law firm
• Experience with CLM (Ironclad preferred) and commercial contracting
• Demonstrated track record of large-scale project management and process improvement
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Persuasive communicator, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and multi-tasking/prioritization abilities
• Excellent judgment, discretion, interpersonal skills and highly team-oriented

What we hope you have

• Experience working independently and with attorneys on interpreting, negotiating, reviewing and organizing legal documents and contracts

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $146,400-168,360 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
