Role
Acting as our Security Engineering Lead, you will have the opportunity to be the driving force behind our security initiatives and will take the helm of a growing team. This role will challenge you to define security posture and strategy, while working across engineering and product teams. You will be responsible for proactive identification, monitoring, and mitigation of cybersecurity vulnerabilities while also overseeing the subsequent implementations. Additionally, you'll enhance our readiness by conducting comprehensive security audits, tests and provide leadership to our Incident Response Team.

- Lead the Incident Response Team
- Analyze and update the current security operations strategy and recommend a roadmap of the necessary security controls, in accordance with company priorities and the security operational activities
- Address security, privacy and compliance issues
- Setup appropriate monitoring, detection and testing
- Educate teams in embracing security into their design work
- Lead security reviews during launches
Skills you will need to be successful
- 4 year degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Assurance/Cybersecurity or equivalent degree
- 7 years of industry experience working on a security focused role, with 2 years experience leading a team
- Programming: C++/Go/Python (focus on reading code)
- Deep Experience across:
- Security monitoring tools, both open source and commercial enterprise tools
- IAM solutions, knowledge of public cloud solutions and modern authentication concepts
- Threat detection and vulnerability management systems
- Ability to plan penetration tests, define scope and read pentest reports
- Experience with implementing and operationalizing security compliance processes
Skills that will differentiate your candidacy
- Experience with Linux, Networking, Cloud Platforms
- Governance, Risk and Compliance knowledge
- Third party risk assessment knowledge
- Experience with cloud multi tenant and edge systems
- Experience with qualifying and working with external vendors
- Program or project management skills
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $184,800 - 292,600 + bonus + equity + benefits. Your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
