What you’ll do

Let’s face it; you’ll need to wear a few hats. But, success requires a focus on execution, so this will be your focus:

Build meaningful, valuable products

You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in electricity system modelling, geospatial data analysis, and computer vision to develop cutting-edge solutions that accelerate grid decarbonisation.

• Utilize electricity system modelling techniques to simulate and analyze network behaviour, identify bottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions for grid decarbonisation.

• Apply geospatial data analysis methodologies to assess renewable energy resource availability, optimal asset placement, and system performance evaluation.

• Develop computer vision algorithms to extract valuable insights from visual data, such as satellite imagery or IoT devices, to support grid monitoring and anomaly detection.

You’ll be enthusiastic about solving problems and delivering value in any challenge.

You’re experienced

You have around 10 years of professional experience with the entire data science lifecycle, from data exploration and feature engineering to model development, deployment, and monitoring in production environments.

Strong expertise in electricity system modelling, geospatial data analysis, and computer vision.

Solid software engineering skills and the ability to develop clean, efficient, and scalable python, along with experience working with data science libraries and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).

You learn
