About this role

Fuse is seeking a dynamic and passionate new business account executive with 18 - 24 months proven success leading prospects through the SaaS (software as a service) software sales cycle to secure multi year licence subscriptions. With the support of our amazing go to market team, you’ll take full ownership from initial prospecting to signed contract. You’ll feel at ease, whether you’re exploring a prospects’ initial curiosity, building value through discovery calls, or preparing and delivering amazing solution demonstrations. You’ll need to be skilled at building and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and understand the crucial role of building business champions as one of the key components of what it takes to win. We’re looking for someone who is highly collaborative in their approach, is coachable and always open to learning both individually and as a team. You’ll be expected to manage and accurately forecast your book of business and will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of quota attainment. Within 12 - 18 months we would expect your drive to make a huge impact to result in promotion to Enterprise Account Executive.

About the team

You’ll be part of a driven, winning new business sales team that is composed of seasoned and up-and- coming sales professionals who are aligned on one mission: to redefine the learning technologies space and create the next generation of learning trailblazers.

The new business team consists of results oriented sales professionals with a strong hunter mentality and desire to win. They share a few common traits: they are self motivated, ambitious, yet they are down to earth in their approach. They also share a passion and thirst for knowledge and innovation and are always looking for ways to improve. Most importantly they have fun doing great work together, celebrating each other's successes. Your Responsibilities

  • Develop an expert knowledge of the Fuse solution and to become a customer facing evangelist for Fuse to our target prospects
  • Lead early stage discovery calls to build on prospects’ initial curiosity and create the champion needed in order to win
  • Prepare and lead virtual and face to face product demonstrations, working collaboratively with our pre-sales team
  • Ability to come up with a plan around how to develop multiple champions in an account and to clearly map the path to budget and signed contract
  • Effectively manage the end to end sales cycle from opportunity to deal close, using the MEDDIC (Metrics, Economic buyer, Decision criteria, Decision process, Identify pain and Champion) sales methodology as a framework for reference
  • Converse with both product and business level stakeholders in the language they understand
  • Working with your champion, proactively expand the number of contacts inside a prospect account
  • Accurately maintain HubSpot sales CRM (customer relationship management), forecast and regularly report out on activity based and revenue based goals
  • Navigate the SaaS contracting process in tandem with senior stakeholders, negotiating financial and contractual agreements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • 18 - 24 months of proven hunting & closing experience in an enterprise software environment
  • Ideally will be multilingual in speaking French and German
  • Experience establishing strategic C-level relationships within major software accounts
  • Ability to run a full sales lifecycle, start to finish, within the enterprise segment
  • Experience of building effective champions, collaborative teams and partnerships
  • Have an ability to lead prospects through the sales process rather than be led by them
  • Experience executing detailed product presentations and web demonstrations of our capabilities to C-level executives, VPs, directors, and sales managers
  • Adept at identifying and utilising internal resources (Sales Development, Sales Engineers, etc.) to build Fuse brand awareness, assist in sales cycles, and close deals
  • Experience of following robust sales methodologies and process, e.g. account planning, MEDDPICC, Value Selling and accurate forecasting
  • Effective listening skills; you must understand objections and defeat them by turning sceptics into ecstatic new customers
