Curious Minds. Bold Ideas. Extraordinary Impact.

We're transforming financial services through bold innovation and relentless execution. You bring the ideas and drive. We'll build what's next — together.

The Opportunity

nCino KYC Africa is on a mission to make money laundering impossible. Our software and compliance services help accountable institutions worldwide meet their obligations – from attorney groups to asset managers and foreign exchange firms.

As an Intermediate Account Manager, you will own some of our most significant relationships: mid-sized to large clients including JSE-listed groups, banks and large professional firms. You lead your own renewals and commercial negotiations, sit across the table from C-suite stakeholders, and shape how they think about compliance risk. You report directly to our Head of Account Management, with real autonomy and a global parent behind you.

What You'll Do

  • Own renewals and expansion across your portfolio, bringing every client to renewal satisfied and ready to grow
  • Build a success plan with each client that maps our capabilities to their business goals
  • Drive adoption so clients use every licence and see the full value of their investment
  • Lead executive business reviews and build relationships from the C-suite down
  • Spot risks to client outcomes early and put clear mitigation plans in place
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and partner with business development to close them
  • Coordinate across compliance, onboarding, product, support engineering and finance to resolve issues end to end
  • Guide clients through cultural, technical and process change
  • Bring client insight into product conversations and share best practice internally and externally
  • Use AI tools to automate routine work and sharpen your decisions

Ideally You'll Have

  • A bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience, education and superior performance
  • Experience planning and prioritising across a portfolio of accounts
  • Credibility as an advisor and coach, especially through change, and confidence leading meetings and workshops
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the confidence to navigate conflict and foster honest dialogue
  • Strong business acumen and a solution-focused approach
  • Sharp organisation and attention to detail when priorities compete

Nice To Have, And All Things We Can Teach

  • Sales experience
  • AML and FICA knowledge
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience
  • A financial services or SaaS background

In Return We're Offering

  • Discovery medical aid (Classic Delta Saver), premium paid by nCino
  • Retirement fund with employer contribution
  • Life, severe illness and funeral cover
  • 20 days' paid time off plus volunteer days
  • Enhanced maternity and parental leave
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan
  • Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family
  • Real investment in your development, with clear routes to widen your scope
