Job Summary

The Associate Manager of Business Development will lead a high-performing team while driving strategic initiatives that enhance business development outcomes across assigned regions and/or market segments. This role serves as a key partner in scaling operations, optimizing processes, and developing talent, all while upholding nCino’s values and consistently meeting and/or exceeding SLAs, activity, and pipeline targets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support the team, ensuring alignment with BDG values and nCino’s culture, including leading recruitment efforts, onboarding, and training to build a strong, scalable team and ensuring consistent execution of the BDG Onboarding Playbook.
  • Oversee the BDG Playbook, conducting regular check-ins to motivate team members to achieve individual and team goals, and create strategies for growth and development
  • Build and refine Salesloft cadences to drive effective outreach and engagement with prospects across assigned markets, ensuring team maximizes available tools for effective output
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives focused on business development growth, process improvement, and operational efficiency, including communication and industry research to ensure alignment to business objectives
  • Achieve key performance metrics, maintain data accuracy through the design and enhancement of reporting frameworks to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business development metrics.
  • Lead planning efforts including territory planning, resource allocation, and goal setting to support team and organizational growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing and enablement teams to support content creation, feedback loops, and strategies that influence revenue generation.
  • Ensure accurate and effective communication of product features, pricing, and value propositions to prospects, supporting lead qualification and handoff processes.
  • Analyze and make recommendation for improvements to incentive plans, while mentoring and managing the team to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Actively assist with prospecting activities to grow sales pipeline

Qualifications

Required:

  • Undergraduate degree, and 6+ years of related professional experience and 1+ years of management
  • Experience creating sales messaging and scripts
  • Ability to consistently meet and/or exceed SLAs, activity, and pipeline targets
  • Effective Communication
  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce and other Sales and Business Development related systems and tools
  • Strong presentation skills to present goals and forecasts
  • Drives Results
  • Manages Complexity

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The Base Salary Range For This Job Is

$64,500.00 - $106,500.00
