nCino offers exciting career opportunities for individuals who want to join the worldwide leader in cloud banking.

The Product Manager for KYC Africa (KYCA) owns the product vision, roadmap, and customer engagement strategy for nCino’s KYC/FICA SaaS platform, serving financial institutions across the African market. This is a high-impact, externally-oriented role at a pivotal moment in the product’s evolution, with significant feature expansion planned in the near term. The Senior PM will lead the voice-of-customer programme, establish and run a Customer Advisory Board, and work directly with Sales, Engineering, and Operations to align product direction with commercial strategy. This role operates as the primary product authority for the KYCA platform.

Essential Functions

  • Validate — Own the voice-of-customer programme. Lead customer discovery engagements, aggregate market data, mine usage analytics, and synthesise insights into clear product signals. Drive decisions on what to build next in collaboration with design, engineering, and architecture.
  • Plan — Define and own Initiatives and Epics, including key acceptance criteria. Lead roadmap planning in partnership with design and architecture, sequencing delivery against platform constraints and customer priorities. Maintain a forward-looking roadmap that connects near-term engineering capacity to long-term product strategy.
  • Build — Champion collaborative story writing as a team practice. Ensure effective knowledge transfer to the engineering team and hold clear ownership of build outcomes against defined acceptance criteria.
  • Grow — Track feature adoption through usage analytics, support feedback, and CSM and customer sentiment. Identify follow-on problems and opportunities for enhancement based on adoption outcomes, and feed these back into the roadmap cycle.
  • Customer Engagement — Establish and lead a Customer Advisory Board, creating a regular, structured channel for customer input and product direction feedback. Represent the product confidently in customer-facing settings, including Sales calls, executive briefings, and industry forums.
  • nCino Product Knowledge — Develop deep fluency in the KYCA platform and the KYC/FICA regulatory landscape. Articulate how the product solves real customer problems, identify enhancement opportunities, and understand how KYCA fits within nCino’s broader product portfolio and African market strategy.
  • AI & Innovation — Leverage AI and analytics capabilities to strengthen product decision-making, identify customer behaviour patterns, forecast trends, and surface unmet needs. Collaborate with engineering to explore and integrate AI/ML features that add demonstrable customer value, while staying current on emerging technologies relevant to the compliance and fintech space.
