The Associate Director of Talent Acquisition leads recruiting teams and contributes to the strategic direction of nCino's global talent acquisition function.
This role requires managing managers and/or senior professionals while driving talent acquisition excellence across multiple business lines or geographies, partnering with senior leaders to execute on hiring strategies that enable organizational growth objectives.

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The Base Salary Range For This Job Is
$140,200.00 - $245,300.00

This role requires managing managers and/or senior professionals while driving talent acquisition excellence across multiple business lines or geographies, partnering with senior leaders to execute on hiring strategies that enable organizational growth objectives.
Essential Functions
- Lead, mentor, and develop managers and/or senior recruiting professionals, building high-performing teams through strategic coaching, performance management, and talent development initiatives.
- Execute and refine comprehensive talent acquisition strategies across assigned business units, geographies, or functional specialties; partner in policy execution that impacts multi-department or multi-country hiring operations.
- Serve as strategic talent advisor to senior business leaders and executives, providing thought leadership on talent market dynamics, hiring strategies, and organizational capability building; navigate complex hiring scenarios and propose best paths forward.
- Leverage talent analytics and workforce intelligence to assess recruitment effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend strategic improvements; develop and present insights on key performance metrics and partner with Finance on hiring forecasts and budget management.
- Oversee the development and execution of proactive sourcing and talent pipelining initiatives across multiple roles or business units; guide teams in building diverse candidate pools and implementing inclusive hiring practices.
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of specialized talent acquisition programs such as early careers initiatives, executive search processes, or technical recruiting methodologies.
- Manage relationships with recruiting vendors, agencies, and technology providers; evaluate vendor performance and ROI; assess and recommend talent acquisition technologies and platforms.
- Ensure hiring practices comply with employment regulations; establish quality control standards and provide guidance on complex compliance scenarios.
- Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, and other centers of excellence to deliver integrated talent solutions; collaborate with Marketing and Communications teams on employer branding initiatives.
- Undergraduate degree and 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition or related professional experience and 3+ years of management experience
- Ability to execute talent strategies that deliver measurable business results
- Strong operational expertise with demonstrated success implementing recruiting structures, systems, programs, and processes
- Expert knowledge of talent acquisition methodologies, sourcing techniques, assessment strategies, and recruitment technologies
- Excellent communication and executive presence with ability to influence and partner with senior leaders
- Experience navigating ambiguity and proposing solutions to complex, non-linear talent challenges
- Deep understanding of employment compliance requirements and best practices
- Master's degree in human resources, business, or related field
- SHRM designation (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
- Experience in high-growth technology, SaaS, or financial services industries
- Workday Recruiting or similar enterprise ATS experience
- Budget management experience
