As a QA Engineer, you will be an essential part of a high performing agile development team focused on planning, executing, and coordinating testing efforts. You will ensure quality issues and defects are properly identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.

As a QA Engineer, you will be an essential part of a high performing agile development team focused on planning, executing, and coordinating testing efforts. You will ensure quality issues and defects are properly identified, documented, tracked, and resolved.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the testing expert for our agile teams
- Review user stories to provide timely and valuable feedback
- Create detailed, well-structured Test Plan
- Execute test cases, analyze the results and report defects
- Create and configure test environments
- Identify, document, and thoroughly test bugs
- Perform thorough testing when bugs are resolved
- Derive and create thorough test cases and scenarios
- Translate requirements\stories to test scenarios, ensure test coverage and enhance quality of product
- Work with product owner and PM to maintain and prioritize product backlog
- Participate in Backlog grooming, Sprint stand ups, planning, review and retrospective and ensure testing requirements are met
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria for stories so every business use case is identified, to deliver high quality product
- Review Test Cases \ Scenarios with Product team to cover requirements 100% and add additional test cases as per product team's recommendation
- Ensure QA standards \ guidelines are adhered and testing commitments are met
- Escalate outstanding issues and testing risks to the QA Lead \ Manager
- Identify opportunities to help management improve QA practices
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- 2+ years of experience in software QA, test cases and management, defect management tools and software development processes
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies
- Minimum of 1-year hands-on experience with code based testing framework
- Hands-on experience with Automation testing tools
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to plan, organize, delegate and control work
- Good decision-making skill, and have self-administrative skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to diagnose problems (collect data, establish facts, etc), draw valid conclusions and provide solutions
- Proven ability to handle various tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Understanding of test automation/frameworks and where best to automate
- Experience in Object Orientated Programming
- Experience using the Salesforce.com application
- Experience with performance and security testing
- Experience working in an agile development process
- Team-oriented but able to work autonomously
