Job Summary As the Director of Business Development, you will play a pivotal role at nCino in building our market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. nCino will depend on you to motivate a team of Regional Directors to always prospect, sell, and meet all goals set forth by you and the Executive team. You will use your knowledge of the market to manage territories, seek out customer needs, and help build relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and manage exceptional Regional Directors and ensure the BDG and nCino stay intact
  • Provide your employees with individual and team meetings to coach and discuss goal achievements, pipeline health, creative prospecting ideas, RVP/Sales team synergy and personal and professional development
  • Oversee the Pardot Administration and ensure nCino is maximizing its value and continually evolving the use of the platform across the company
  • Cross company communication and industry research to ensure BDG efforts align with strategic initiatives across other key departments (product development, customer success, sales, and marketing)
  • Consistently collaborate and communicate with RVP’s, sales leadership, “BaRCeDinG” team managers and the Chief Marketing Officer to meet department and company initiatives
  • Continually build out BDG playbook by developing new prospecting materials, researching and implementing new prospecting tools, and refining processes to ensure your team is efficient and successful
  • Define and track annual goals and metrics as well as monthly prospecting contests to drive specific strategic initiatives
  • Ensure sufficient business development territory coverage across the globe

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required
  • 8 years of experience in sales or combination of education, experience, and superior performance with 2 years of management experience in sales
  • Experience in creating and developing Sales messaging and scripting
  • Experience at preparing and presenting goals and forecasts to executives and key stakeholders
  • Eagerness to expand the nCino platform with new sales, clients, and territories
  • Experience with specifically cold calling banks or credit unions
  • Proven ability to use social media as a business development tool
  • Proven ability to research and identify bank industry data

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The Base Salary Range For This Job Is

$96,200.00 - $151,515.00
