Who is Fergus:

We’re building the world’s most loved SaaS platform for Tradies. Our intuitive cloud-based job management software is helping tradespeople across the globe manage their business in a smarter, more efficient way. From site visits through to scheduling, quoting, invoicing, and much more - Fergus arranges all tasks in one place and gives our customers the insight they need to grow their business.

Founded in 2014 as the brainchild of Dan Pollard, a veteran NZ Tradie, who spent many years deep in the trenches. Eventually burning out and going bust, Dan realised that a trades business needs proper systems in place to keep it running … without running its owner into the ground.

Fast-forward to today, we’re a Series B ($15m) global B2B SaaS business with offices in New Zealand (HQ), Australia and now a rapidly scaling team in Manchester, UK.

The opportunity:

Come be our first Partnerships Managers (we’re hiring for 2) in the UK, creating a prosperous revenue stream for our already rapidly scaling UK region. These roles will involve attending and eventually running virtual and in-person events / conferences / trade shows … so you must be open to occasional travel across the UK (fully expensed, of course!)

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a SaaS Partnership Manager, you’ll be responsible for all aspects of our partner programmes - leading, managing and enhancing partner relationships and growing our partnership ecosystem
  • You’ll be fostering great relationships with new and existing partners, identifying sales leads and contributing to company sales targets
  • You’ll be managing commercial partner agreements and spotting upselling opportunities
  • You’ll be attending in-person events across the UK - conferences, trade shows, customer meets, events etc… so a willingness to travel is essential
  • You’ll work closely with our Sales+CS, Marketing and global Product team to ensure the customer journey is optimised for adoption
  • You’ll be utilising our cutting-edge Sales Tech, ensuring data accuracy and integrity is at the forefront of everything you do.
  • Previous commercial experience as a Partnership / Partner Manager within a customer-centric B2B SaaS environment.
  • Prior demonstrable experience fostering great relationships from cold, guiding through to eventual adoption and activation.
  • You must be a “do-er”... you’ll be our first Partnership Managers, so it’s essential you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty!
  • Tech Savviness, with great verbal and written communication skills - you must be able to articulate important messages in a concise way.
  • You must be open to travel to conferences, events, tradeshows and customer meets across the UK (fully expensed).
